Jay Ram has taken the Nepali Metal scene by storm, there is not much doubt about it. Replacing Rishav in Binaash and fulfilling the void was not easy but this young man has done a commendable job. He is also currently involved with Wakk Thuu, a band that was without doubt THE break through band in the scene last year (2012) and various other bands.

BRUTAL POKHARA ANNOUNCES DISHARMONY 4 LINE UP.

Amidst much speculation and anticipation, BRUTAL POKHARA has finally revealed the line up and the official flyer for this year’s DISHARMONY 4, the LOUDEST, NOISIEST and the HEAVIEST event in Pokhara.

This years event will be headlined by the Italian Hardcore act Traces of You, who will be on tour to various Asian countries at that time.
The other bands includes one of the longest running band in Nepal, Shannon Scam, Death Metal heavyweights Narsamhaar, Nepal’s first vedic Metal band Dying Out Flame, Slam Death Metallers Kaal and one of the most prominent rising band from Pokhara Mahadev.

This event is scheduled to take place on July 7th, the venue for the show is however yet to be finalized. All the infos will be posted in coming days so stay tuned.

OBITUARY needs no introduction so we are not giving any. Our man Viktor (www.extreminal.com) caught up with Trevor Peres (Guitars) for a interesting chat and here’s how it went:

Where did the idea come from to do a tour playing only from your first three albums?
Trevor Peres (guitar):
Actually, the promoters of this tour asked us about this idea. It’s something we have been talking about before in the past, maybe doing the first couple of albums. And then the promoters for this tour, Soundworks threw that out there to us and we were like “Well, if talked about it, let’s do it.” So, here we are.

Officially, are you a four-piece band or do you have another permanent guitarist?
We do have a fifth member for this tour. We just did a European run and an American tour as a four-piece ’cause we were trying to decide what…

Tumbleweed, the idea of Sarad Shrestha (former Axe band guitarist) one of the talented musicians dedicated to make music to satisfy the demands of Rap Core Metal enthusiasts by churning out melodies with the aggression and the soul of modern music, came in existence from 2012 with the collaboration of artist from different bands. The sound of Tumbleweed is Rap metal core, influenced from Rage Against the Machine, LimpBizkit, Snot, etc.
